Sandwich panel (SIP) production line SPL-2TWIN.1C.PUR with two driven carriages and two P-type pneumatic presses

The Gluestream SPL-2 sandwich panel production line is a versatile glue-applying unit integrated with a portal-type press, designed to produce various types of sandwich insulated panels (SIPs) with diverse skins like OSB, MGO, MDF, plywood, and thin materials such as steel, PVC, and fiberglass, combined with core materials like EPS, XPS, foamed PU, PIR, and mineral wool. 

SPL-2TWIN.1C.PUR: 

  • For larger panels sized 7320 mm x 1250 mm (24ft x 4ft), also with a pressing height up to 1250mm (4ft), customizable dimensions, utilizing one-component polyurethane adhesive. 
  • Increased production capacity, with the possibility of assembling two-panel stacks in each press. 

Each version can adapt dimensions based on customer requests, ensuring flexibility and precision in producing customized SIPs.

Due to the excellent bonding properties of 1-C PUR, it poses a risk to the components of the adhesive application system, as the curing reaction of polyurethane can easily initiate if moisture penetrates. Therefore, our machinery is designed to meet high safety standards and is completely sealed to prevent this.


The KAM-PRO series adhesive applicator is designed for precision and efficiency. It features two-way pneumatic valves that provide control over the flow of adhesive. A special tray, filled with a plasticizer, acts as a safeguard to prevent the adhesive from reacting prematurely inside the nozzles.

In the event of a power failure or if the machine stops for more than a minute, the shutter tray closes automatically. This duration can be adjusted based on the adhesive's Open Time. Additionally, users have the option to manually close the tray by pressing a designated key on the control panel.

Overall, the KAM-PRO series maximizes functionality and adhesive longevity with user-friendly controls and automation.

High accuracy of the positioning and automatic control system allow to eliminate the adhesive losses.

Portal type pneumatic press is equipped with driven carriage where the stack of the panels is assembled. Unloading the panels is performed manually or using a forklift.


The high accuracy of positioning and automatic control ensures minimal adhesive loss. The adhesive is delivered using a high-precision dosing pump, applying the exact amount needed (±5g/m²). This system balances the variations in adhesive viscosity, allowing the use of one-component polyurethane adhesives from any manufacturer without the need for hardware reconfiguration.


All Gluestream machinery is equipped with a remote access module, providing the customer with 24/7 online internet support.
